SERVICES
At Barbara Goldberg & Associates, we view each evaluation as a partnership supporting each program to produce the maximum benefits for participants and achieve the greatest knowledge for the organization at each step.
DESIGN
An evaluation design ought to be a dynamic plan that outlines the
guiding principles, evaluation strategies, methodologies, and products to achieve articulated goals. In concert with the specific mission and goals of your project, the evaluation plan answers these fundamental questions:
-
What are your evaluation goals?
-
What is the best combination of qualitative and quantitative information to be used in the evaluation process?
-
Which methods of data collection will garner the most comprehensive and accurate information?
-
How will that data be collected?
-
How will the results be shared?
PLANNING
The best time to plan for
program evaluation is during the development of a service initiative or expansion. We will assist your organization in articulating your:
-
mission and vision;
-
specific goals and objectives; and
-
clearly identified expected outcomes.
This is the most important step that any organization can take to support program evaluation.
IMPLEMENTATION
The implementation phase of a program evaluation is critical to establishing the protocols and procedures that will ultimately assure that the study can accurately assess the impact of services. During this phase Barbara Goldberg & Associates pays particular attention to ongoing
training and individual coaching needs.
We also focus on establishing lines of communication to create an environment of trust so that problems are brought forward and solved quickly.
We believe that both people and organizations learn enormously from their setbacks and that growth will surely ensue from collaborative, positive problem-solving.
DISSEMINATION
We help our clients with dissemination of results by:
-
creating professional, well-written and attractive reports;
-
presenting or co-presenting findings to organizational governance and leadership as well as key community stakeholders;
-
presenting or co-presenting at local, regional and national trainings, workshops and conferences; and
-
collaborating to prepare manuscripts for submission to peer reviewed journals.
TRAINING
We consider training as part of our mission. We teach all staff and appropriate stakeholders
about the planned evaluation study and the ways in which their involvement can enhance their own skill sets as it improves program effectiveness. In presentations, workshops, on the phone, and electronically, we teach, coach, and encourage, so that all staff understand the evaluation objectives and methodology, and feel that they are an important part of the process.
